The young, the stylish, and the talented

Reno, NEV – (May. 14): Tyler McKinnon and Eddy Bueno are making a name for themselves in Reno, Nev.

Bueno and McKinnon are co owners to their newly established clothing label, Impartial Clothing. In late March of 2013 their business venture began and has slowly been growing a following. With more than 190 followers on Facebook the duo is working to spread the word about their new business.

McKinnon creates the t-shirt designs while Bueno handles promoting, ordering, and contributing ideas for new products.  But to this team the company is more than just another clothing label. Through Impartial Clothing, Bueno and McKinnon want people to wear their beliefs and share to the world what they have faith in.

“Impartial Clothing is a clothing company where everything just fits to everyone’s needs. The term ‘impartial,’ meaning we’re equal,” said McKinnon.

The two friends have aspirations for their clothing line that exceed the moral of common business by far. According to the owners, when selling their clothing the goal is that they will be wearing that particular shirt because that’s what they wanted to show the world. They hope people will use Impartial Clothing as a form of expression rather than just another style or fad.

Not only do McKinnon and Bueno have their own company but they double as the guitarist and vocalist for an up and coming post hardcore band, Saving Alleya. These multitalented artists derive their inspiration for clothing designs not only from their personal beliefs but from the beliefs of their band mates as well. McKinnon is a part of the Straightedge movement in Reno while Bueno uses his faith and fondness of random trends, such as Harry Potter, to enthuse creativity. They also draw from values like veganism and animal rights from band members and fans.

T-shirts from Impartial Clothing can be purchased from their store website at www.impartialclothing.storenvy.com or during Saving Alleya’s next performance on June 1st at the Knitting Factory.
